Export to Cloud Services

Export to Cloud Services

MatchLogic integrates with popular cloud storage services through OAuth authentication, allowing you to export your processed data directly to Google Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive. This is convenient when you want to share results with team members through familiar cloud platforms.

Supported Services

  • Google Drive — Export files to any folder in your Google Drive account.
  • Dropbox — Export files to a Dropbox folder, accessible from any linked device.
  • OneDrive — Export files to Microsoft OneDrive, integrated with your Microsoft 365 environment.

Authentication Flow

Each cloud service uses OAuth for secure authentication. The process is the same regardless of which service you choose:

  1. Click the Connect button next to your chosen service.
  2. A browser window opens, redirecting you to the service's login page.
  3. Sign in with your account credentials and grant MatchLogic permission to access your files.
  4. You are redirected back to MatchLogic with a confirmation that the connection was successful.

Once connected, your account remains linked for future exports. You do not need to re-authenticate each time unless you revoke access or your token expires.

Configuring the Export

After connecting to your cloud service:

  • Select destination folder — Browse your cloud storage and choose the folder where the exported file should be placed.
  • Choose file format — Select either CSV or Excel (XLSX) as the output format. Format-specific settings (delimiter, sheet name) are available depending on your choice. See https://help.matchlogic.io/article/298-export-to-csv and https://help.matchlogic.io/article/299-export-to-excel for details.
  • File name — Enter the name for the exported file.

Step by Step

  1. Select the cloud service (Google Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive).
  2. Click Connect and complete the OAuth authentication.
  3. Browse and select the destination folder.
  4. Choose your file format and configure format settings.
  5. Click Export to generate and upload the file.

Tip

The OAuth connection flow is identical to the one used during data import from cloud services. If you have already connected a service for importing, the same connection can be reused for export.

Important

If your OAuth token expires or is revoked, you will need to reconnect before exporting. MatchLogic will prompt you if the connection is no longer valid.
